The infield of Santa Anita Park was filled with vintage motorcycles a few weeks back. With the San Gabriel mountain range as a backdrop, Santa Anita Park is easily one of the most beautiful race tracks in the world. Famed also by Seabiscuit's win in 1940, the track still holds premier horse racing events in California. In this case, why not throw a lawn full of beautiful vintage motorcycles into the mix?  

Horse racing has been a part of my family for generations. The familiar sounds and smells of the track were like stepping into a time machine. Sharing the day with horses and old, unique motorcycles was special.

In honor of going back in time, I took the opportunity to bring with me my only film camera. What you see is a mix of 35mm and 120 medium format film. Here are some of the exposures from that day.
